Security & Privacy Standards Technical Committee (SPSTC)
Scope
With the proliferation of IT, organisations in all sectors of the economy are dependent on information systems and communications networks to share information as well as conduct businesses. Hence standardisation of security techniques is important to protect the integrity, confidentiality, reliability and availability of IT systems. The mission of SPSTC is to promote the awareness, development and adoption of security and privacy technology standards.
Composition
The Security and Privacy Standards Technical Committee has the following main composition:

- TC Secretary – Mr Ho Kee-Vin, Protiviti Pte Ltd
ISO/IEC JTC1 participation
A ‘Participatin’ or ‘P’ member in ISO/IEC JTC1/SC27 on IT Security Techniques.
