National Library Standards Technical Committee (NLSTC)
Scope
Track standards, trends and developments on the performance indicators for national libraries, both locally and internationally.
Composition
The National Library Standards Technical Committee has the following main composition:
- TC Chairman - Mr Gene Tan, National Library Board
- TC Secretary - Ms Soh Lin Li, National Library Board
The Technical Committee comprise of representatives from the Council of Chief Librarians of Singapore.
International Standards Participation
- A ‘Participating’ or ‘P’ member of ISO TC 46 SC 8 on Quality - Statistics and performance evaluation.
- An ‘Observer’ or ‘O’ member of ISO TC 46 - Information and documentation.
- Participates in IFLA (The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions), an international organisation representing the interests of library and information services and their users.
