Multimedia Representation Technical Committee (MRTC)
Scope
To represent and lead in the national adoption, deployment of suitable International standards of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC29, with particular focus on standards being developed within WG11 on MPEG and to a lesser extent on JPEG within WG1.
- Participate in the technical work of developing and influencing the above International standards that may be applicable to Singapore
- Review above standards and specifications, and recommend the balloting or adoption of such standards
Composition
The Multimedia Representation Technical Committee has the following main composition:
- TC Chairman - Mr Lee Chak Joo , Panasonic Singapore Laboratories Pte Ltd
ISO/IEC JTC1 participation
A ‘Participating’ or ‘P’ member in ISO/IEC JTC1/SC29 on Coding of audio, picture, multimedia and hypermedia information. The TC is very active in WG11 on MPEG.

There is no WG under the TC.
