Automatic Data Capture Technical Committee (ADCTC)
Scope
Automatic Identification & Data Capture (AIDC) standards, in particular bar codes and radio frequency identification (RFID) related to item identification and progressing.
Composition
The Automatic Data Capture Technical Committee has the following main composition:
- TC Chairman - Mr Tan Jin Soon, GS1 Singapore Council
- Deputy Chairman - Mr Beh Chew Leng, National Library Board
- TC Secretary - Ms Rosyati Mohd Said, GS1 Singapore Council
International Standards Participation
- A ‘Participating’ or ‘P’ member of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC31 on Automatic Identification and Data Capture Techniques, including linear bar coding, 2D bar coding and RFID for item management.
- Participates in GS1, a global organisation dedicated to the the design and implementation of global standards and solutions to improve the efficiency and visibility of supply and demand chains globally and across sectors.
