Singapore Technical Reference on DaaS API
ITSC has just developed a new Technical Reference, TR 33 on Data as a Service (DaaS) Application Programming Interface (API) Design.
Data as a Service (Daas) enables organisations to share, commoditise or monetise data as an on-demand services. Users may then directly or through applications, analyse, process, combine and present these data as information or as part of other value-added services. TR33 recommends a set of best practices in the implementation of data APIs with the aim of giving developers or independent software vendors as much agility as possible when rolling out new services, and ensuring that these services can easily be maintained even as changes are made to the source datasets.
